I started this blog back in January 2018 as we embarked on our Chamonix based ski season. It was something we’d always dreamed of doing … 2 weeks a year and the odd sneaky weekend just were not cutting it any more.

The planets aligned and off we went.
I decided a blog, actually I think a friend suggested it, would be a good way to keep track of the days, serve as a reminder of the good times and if anyone out there was interested in keeping up with us in addition to the bonkers whatsApp group then here we would be.
So 2 years on and I finally posted day 91 and now what to do with this?
So the Blog has now been repurposed for a random collection of adventures into the outdoors, photography, both analogue and digital and a so far not that successful even if a bit prolific foray into film making.

There will be a lot of pictures of the Dru.
If I could remember the password to the @daily_dru instagram account I’d add a widget here.

Where have the days gone
It’s nearly November and I haven’t posted anything for a while. The world is still in deep trouble with the virus with no end in site. Back in the Summer when we could head across the border and back freely we enjoyed a couple of lovely visits with the other halves Brother and Sister in-law…
Actually it’s mainly for my mum to keep track of me.
